wonderful, amazing, and delightfully pampered

The villa is beautiful and very well maintained. the staff are quietly efficient, friendly and highly skilled. if i could have adopted andreas i would have. he was truly worth the trip. he helped to make my daughters wedding a timeless memory. the kitchen staff created gourmet fare that was fresh and delicious. i will recommend the experience to everyone i meet.

Un fin de semana extremadamente agusto!

Mis amigas y yo estábamos planeando un viaje de 3 noches/4 días a Cancún, y siendo que queríamos una convivencia un poco más intensa y a gusto buscamos una casa y no un hotel. Ésta fue la única casa que encontré que se rentaba en Cancún abiertamente que se veía bonita y bien ubicada. Desde antes de irnos el servicio ya era de primera, Robert estaba super dispuesto a ayudarme con lo que fuera y me contestaba todos mis emails o llamadas en cuestión de minutos. Llegamos a la casa y enserio que las fotos que había visto en el internet no le hacían justicia! Estaba bellísima, con espacios comunes muy amplios y con 6 recámaras comodísimas. Los candiles que tiene son espectaculares. Éramos 13 mujeres en el grupo y enserio que no nos sentíamos para nada apretadas! No habcía ni un sólo cuarto que yo pensara "aquí no me gustaría quedarme", y todos tenían closets y baños super amplios, y contaban con mini-splits. Las camas estaban deliciosas, con sábanas y edredones nuevos.

Desde antes nos fuimos con un menú predeterminado lo cual hizo las cosas mucho más agusto, las porciones siempre bastaron para que comiéramos las 13, y todo lo que preparaban andreas (el chef) y Rocío (la cocinera) estaba realmente delicioso. En cuanto a las bebidas, nos asignaron a un mesero que nos preparaba coctels especiales cada día (mojitos, mai thais, sangría) lo cual era un muy agradable detalle... Si algo faltaba, rapidísimo se iba a un oxxo y compraba lo que fuera (hielos, limones, etc) y sólo le pagábamos el taxi y lo que se haya gastado. Todo le quedaba deli.

El área de la alberca es lo mejor! La terraza es enorme, con un bar, 2 salitas, y una mesa larga. Pasábamos básicamente todo el día ahí. La playa está divina, a 20 pasos de la alberca, y el mar es muy tranquilo, como alberca.

Recomiendo esta casa al 100%! Reserven ya, pues somos 13 que ahora queremos regresar con nuestras familias y se pueden quedar sin lugar! :P

My wedding was held at the Villa on June 25, 2011. My husband and I stayed there along with our bridesmaids and groomsmen.

There are no words to describe how amazing the house, hospitality, and people really are. It was the most amazing weekend of our lives, and we owe that in large part to Robert, Andreas, and the rest of the staff at the house. Anything and everything we needed was right there or brought to us at a moments notice.

There is no hotel that could ever compare to this house, it is the definition of luxury. It is so big, but at the same time feels so "homey."

Our wedding party has made us promise that we will renew our vows again and again at the Villa so we can experience this all over. It was perfect.

Great place to host a wedding, very well-managed!

I stayed at the Villa earlier this month as a guest of friends who were getting married here. I know that my friend planned her wedding almost entirely from home in California, so the fact that the wedding turned out so beautifully is a testament not only to her planning but also to the management at the villa. The villa itself was absolutely stunning, inside and out. It was incredibly well-maintained, and the staff were accessible and responsive without being intrusive. There was space for everything from dancing and relaxing. The bride and groom had their first dance in the great room, which by candle-light was a spectacular but still intimate setting. Location of the villa was great, walking distance to major hotels and attractions, including the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Most impressive to me was the manager (Andreas, I think?) Who was very attentive to bride and groom's needs, but also to the rest of the guests. I needed to get a taxi to the airport for a flight very early in the morning, and he coordinated with the villa staff the night before to be sure a taxi would be there when I needed it. Everything went so smoothly that weekend, it was just perfect.

Thanksgiving at the Villa 2010 - Fantastic!

Dear Robert, My family has been vacationing together during the week of Thanksgiving for over 10 years. We've been to several different locations, venues, hotels, and homes all over the world. This past Thanksgiving at the Villa in Cancun was without a doubt the best trip that we have been on together. The house was perfect: clean, quiet, secure, comfortable, and the location (right on the ocean) is perfect. The food was also great - from the fresh, healthy breakfasts to the suburb dinners and even the lunches that andreas carefully packed for us - they were all exceptional. That being said, the most impressive aspect of the Villa is definitely the staff. I know that I am not alone in saying that my family definitely genuinely felt that the staff was not only totally willing and able to provide first class service, but they were happy, excited, and caring in doing so. My mom and my sister would have taken Rosia and andreas home with them to South Carolina and New Jersey if they could (seriously). We really had a wonderful trip and would highly, highly recommend the Villa to future guests. Thank you again, we had a phenomenal trip and hope to see you soon!

Spellbinding

The staff is outstanding. That's what sets the Villa apart from any 5 star villa we've rented in Mexico or the Carribean. The House Manager spent time at some very high-end U.S. hotels and resorts before opting for a more intimate setting in his native Mexico, and you will reap the benefits of his background. Healthy, perfectly prepared food is served with warmth and flair. Every person on the staff was kind, helpful and professional, they were all great with the kids, too.

The villa is very tastefully decorated. Gorgeous antiques are mixed with comfortably casual pieces. The pool area is dazzling, the ocean view is superb and the beach is beautiful and well maintained.

We spent 5 days at Villa, and left the premises twice. Not one of our boys...11, 9 and 2 wanted to leave, and neither did we. That says it all.

Best Vacation

We where six couples from England and Germany traveling to Cancun. The Villa is centrally located in Cancun's Hotel Zone. The Mansion is directly on the Beach with incredibly shallow waters and white sandy beaches surrounded by the golf course. Even tough you are in the middle of everything it feels so private. The rate includes daily Housekeeping and security in the night. Andreas and his friendly staff were wonderful he fulfilled all of our wishes. From the air port pick up, delicious barbecue nights, the most amazing Cevice, out door activities, table reservations, car rental, relaxing in-suite massages etc.. The house is decorated with a Mexican flair, stylish yet elegant. It gives you a true a Mexican feeling. We are definitely planing to go back. Thank you for everything!

Perfect family vacation

My family and I choose the villa in Cancun for our vacation this year (my husband, my self, my two daughters and my son). A good way to describe the Villa is attention to detail, the fresh flowers in the common areas and in every room, the Evian bottled water on the night stands, hairdryers in every room, sawing kits, first aid kits and more. We where welcomed with snacks and a welcome drink by andreas the Villa Manager. What can I say about our stay, the beach is perfect for the kids, no rocks, shallow and crystal clear Caribean waters and extremely calm so we felt very safe going in the water with the kids. While the kids played on the beach and in the pool, my husband and I choose to have massages in our Ocean front master suite on the 5th floor, where we also enjoyed some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. The rooms are perfectly decorated, the lighting on dimmers never harsh on the eyes, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the bedding all egyption cotton and the best part of the rooms are the views to the caribbean with their huge balconies where you can seat and enjoy a glass of champagne. The food was amazing, we thought we would leave the Villa for dinner but in the end we decided to have every single meal at the Villa. The Villa is close to everything, shopping, theme parks, restaurants and more and at the same time when you are in the Mansion you feel extremely private. I can go on and on about the Villa, if you have kids and are planning a family vacation you must consider the Villa, it is a perfect family get away for both the kids and the adults. We are looking forward to going back next year again!!

Baller's paradise

The accommodations were over-the-top. The house is absolutely gorgeous, but it is the staff that made our stay so incredibly fabulous. Not only are you in the company of some very talented individuals, but also some of the most conscientious, skilled, personable, fun and friendly people I've ever met. And if the scale were 5 stars, I would give the food 6 stars - off the charts, thanks to andreas!

Every wish granted!

Andreas, Robert and the entire staff of the Villa catered to our every wish and even expanded our minds to an even higher level of service. Every request was met promptly and with a smile. Not only were our expectations met but they were way above what they could have been. The property is in a great location within a short drive or walk to shopping and nightlife. The house is an oasis on its own. We were surprised by how little we left the compound. There is so much fun and relaxation to be had there, why leave? The food, oh the food, Adreas can cook and prepare drinks like no other. His ceviche was hands down the best. We also loved our daily guacamole and those fresh, frozen watermelon vodka martinis were out of this world. We had fresh fruit served several times and day and every evening we would dine on fresh fish that was swimming just hours before. Andreas would go to the source of most of the food items to provide only the best ingredients. Nothing came from the market. He would even bring back fresh flowers to display around the house. Daily we would have yoga on the back patio overlooking the ocean and then have late afternoon massages. Any type of excursion you could imagine can be organized by the staff and arranged to be private. We also always had VIP access for any bar or club that we went to with the best tables reserved for our group. I could carry on for hours about the house and the staff. In summary, run don't walk to the phone or computer and make your reservation. You will not be disappointed

An Oasis - Full Service - Mansion - Detail Oriented - Great Food

Once we got there and saw the property we never wanted to leave. We ate every meal and took advantage of the wonderful services provided (meal preparation, spa services, yoga, tour/adventure planning, etc.)... a full service concierge it top class. The management team was very flexible and worked around our schedules as the group size and needs varied. Robert/Andreas/Francesca - you guys are a great team.. don't lose what you have developed. It is a rare retreat.

Amazing Bachelorette Weekend

I had the most amazing time with my girlfriends at Villa albratros. This place is truly a paradise. The villa was so beautiful, luxurious and the staff was so attentive and caring. I've rented luxury villas before in Mexico but none of them can be compared to the Villa. I highly recommend to families and friends. I can't wait to come back!

Great place

Place is wonderful, wonderful villa, amazing serivice, beautiful view. The pool and private beach is amazing. Of course, the best part is the on-site property manager-Andreas. He's offered the best service I've ever had. I will follow him to go vacation wherever he works at!

More like Villa Paradise 10 stars!

From the moment Robert greeted us walking up to the steps of this amazing house, we knew this place was going to exceed our expectations. You fall in love with the place right when you walk in and want to run around to find your bedroom like Real World MTV or the model's house on america's Next Top Model. The beds are like clouds that help you sleep like a baby, but if you really want to purchase one, they're Sealy Posturepedics. Their back deck overlooking the ocean is like a postcard! Robert, Andreas and the owners did a wonderful job at renovating this place.

We were driving around lost trying to find the place which is why the location got minus a couple stars points. Had our concierge (based out in Canada) gave us more clear instructions to pass on to the driver, that would have been more helpful. It's definitely not the Villa's fault.

The icing on the cake was andreas, our attentive, sweet, peaceful, Cuuute house chef/waiter/property manager and his magic staff. Andreas greeted us with margaritas and guacamole/chips upon Check-In. Skip Harry's or any of the other high end restos and let andreas prepare his mexican fare for you on the outdoor patio. Whenever we called a taxi or a van service he's the one that negotiated on our behalf in espanol. Don't mess with him or his guests! We all wanted to make clones of him and pack him up in our suitcase and take him home with us!

Gorgeous villa/private beach w/ impeccable service/value

The Villa is really perfect for a bachelor/bachelorette party. I threw one here for 10 girls this past weekend. It's so close to the nightlife of Cancun yet also has the privacy of a secluded resort. The private beach has soft sand and the water is warm. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for entertaining. However, what really set this particular villa experience apart from the rest is the property manager, Andreas! He anticipated every need of our party and has the best connections in the city to get you the best value and access. The food at the resort was healthy and truly delicious. Order food at the house! Don't bother going out - we went to Harry's and spent $100/person, but the food at the house was a quarter of that price and so much better!!! Only caveat is bring some insect repellent - Cancun can be hot and humid!!! Highly highly recommend. My friends and I are going back with our families!

Paradise in best(!!) location

The experience I had during my 10 day getaway at the Villa was far beyond what I could have ever imagined, which is reason for the fact that a) I extended my stay and b) I am already in touch with the management team to arrange for my visit next year.

This was my first trip to Cancun Mexico and I was looking for a vacation that can give me both, the buzz of a vibrant and exciting beach destination with a large variety of entertainment offerings and the absolute privacy, comfort and calmness of a home for total relaxation. Hence I opted for this Villa, which gave me the luxury of being able to accommodate my friends who where also visiting Cancun in a very private ad personalized ambience.

The staff, as well as the management team were highly dedicated and attended to our needs, like no Hotel would ever be able to do. Everyone quickly understood exactly what was liked, when and how which made every guest feel like a Royal for once in their life.

The Villa, with its impressive Lobby with Fountains, Large swimming pool and Terraces on many levels, has a direct access to the beach and the shores of the Caribean Ocean. The rooms are (as everryhting) very luxurious and spacious and eqipped with the latest technology.

In less than 10 minutes you are in the Centre of Cancuns Entertainment district and yet the Villa is souranded by a serene golf course, perfect for the moring walk.

I will be back!

Amazing, a caribbean dream...

Heaven

It was a wonderful vacation, exactly what I was looking for and more. It's a short ride from the airport and only minutes away from all the bars, shops, and restaurants. The villa itself was breath-taking with impecable decor and very clean. The views from the balcones as well as the pool are were spectacular. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer.

Amazing!

I travel a lot, but none of the places that I have stayed so far were so exceptional that I would have taken my time to write a review. But ..I was blown away. We stayed there in April for an extended weekend and as soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. You literally open the door and see the ocean. Amazing! We were looking for a getaway to relax and de-stress and that was exactly what we got. When we arrived we got a tour of the house and when they showed us our bedroom, our luggage was already in the room with the additional items we requested.

If you have any request the Villa Manager makes sure it will be taken care of. They arranged some in-room spa treatments and when you are at the pool it actually feels like you are at a luxury hotel. They serve you fresh fruits and great Mojitos and their own refreshing lemonade. The rooms are very comfortable and bright and you can see the ocean from every room. We stayed at the master suite which has its own walk in closet (actually the �closet� is a room itself) and a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi.

The villa is right on the beach and it is very quiet and peaceful. One night we went to the main strip in Cancun, which is only about 10min away. But it feels like you are in a different world, a lot of partying. The next days we decided to enjoy the pool and beach at the house. We also went with their concierge�s recommendation to take a ferry over to Isla Mujeres. Great idea! The ferry ride was fun (and we could even walk there) and in Isla Mujeres we rented golf carts to explore the island.

I would go back to the Villa in a heart beat. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with great service and privacy, definitely the place to go!
